New England Patriots Trevor Siemian expected to return to lineup
This past weekend, New England Patriots quarterback Trevor Siemian posted a photo of himself getting treatment on his injured left foot on Twitter. The picture showed that Siemian, with his helmet on to hear the play calls from the team’s practice outside, watching game video on his iPad as he soaks his injured foot in one of the treatment pools in the team’s training room.
The picture looked similar to the picture of Peyton Manning when he was getting treatment for a right foot injury last season. Before Siemian posted his photo on Twitter, he sent the photo to Manning.
Siemian did not play in the Patriots’ victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars this past Sunday. He took part in the Patriots’ walk-through Wednesday. Siemian said that he was feeling better.
The coach Gary Kubiak said that Siemian was expected to practice Thursday. It is possible that Siemian will play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
During practices and games, Siemian will wear an orthotic in his shoe to help with his injured foot.
